COURAGE: have the courage of one's convictions, to act in accordance with one's beliefs, especially in spite of criticism
"The point is not that we have nothing to fear, but that His presence is the basis for our courage." -Beth Moore
Last weekend Mike and I were able to have a night out and go to dinner and then to see the movie Courageous. I am a big fan of Sherwood Pictures and I am so glad that I got to see this movie in the theater!
Courageous is definitely a message that is directed at fathers but I think that anyone that sees this movie can gain something from it.
It speaks of things such as stepping up and leading in the areas we are called to, being present and involved with your family, and doing what's right... even when it's incredibly hard. The messages were clear and positive.
Courageous is a movie that will make you laugh and cry and question whether or not you are living out your life as well as you could. I absolutely recommend this movie. Don't miss it just because you aren't a dad!
Have you seen it? What did you think?
